I love finding things and objects in the street as I travel. Im torn between amazement and bewilderment on why people leave these sort of things lying around. Is it laziness or are they leaving it for another persons gain? Whatever it is I’m enjoying finding them and these three photographs form part of my ongoing series ‘Sneaky Dumping’. January was a busy month for Corporate mugs shots. In my view mug shots are ever so slightly different to the standard corporate head shot which tends to be a little more side on. Anyway client brief was to shoot almost 300 of them around the country and so off I went. Thank you.

It was a lovely feeling to see my work from Ethiopia and Kosovo exhibited and being auctioned for the charity Action Against Hunger

We raised thousands of pounds thanks to Ulrika Jonsson who was the auctioneer for the evening. Bill Nighy was there and I think Clive James has two of my framed pictures in his home. Thank you.

A couple of shots from a quick editorial shoot of Sir Peter Dixon.

Sir Peter Dixon, former Chairman of the Housing Corporation, was appointed as President of English Rural Housing Association in March 2009. Peter will help the Association champion the need for affordable homes in rural communities across England.

His experiences as Chairman of the Housing Corporation from 2003 until 2008 will be a great asset to English Rural as it continues to work with local authority and parish council partners to provide affordable rural homes.

This is a selection of portraits from a few Guardian commissions over the last few weeks. Each picture has either led a Case Study, promotion or personal interview about that person. You can get anywhere between 15 to 30 minutes with each person, if you are lucky longer. I really admire photographers who get amazing portraits as after many years of doing them under pressure and little time I know how hard it is.

A few years ago I was working on a Food project in Cambodia for Action Contre la Faim in Paris. While I was there I took a day out and drove down the Mekong delta on a motorbike. The Mekong river is the twelfth longest river in the world. It begins in the high plateau of Eastern Tibet and flows through China, Burma, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. The Cambodian part was somewhat dangerous so I had to have about 4 local guards with me, but that is another story. Here are a few shots from the edit of the people I found along the river while I was there.
